The Specialist will report directly to the Special Handling Manager, Budapest CoE and will assist in the reporting of all Suspense, Watchlist (which also includes distressed accounts), Reserves & Write Offs. Regular liaison with the regional Special Handling Managers in the 9 regions will be essential and you will assist them with data and guidance relating to Accounts Receivable and other statutory internal reviews.

Checking eligibility for Suspense
Generally ensuring that recoveries are maximised to reduce potential losses
Processing claim
When this process has been exhausted also to ensure correct approvals are obtained for prompt write off from the company's books
Liaising with local Customer Fulfillment & Legal teams re appropriate recovery actions.
Recommending reserves to Accounting
Requirements
Minimum 3 years work experience, preferable in a financial institution of a larger company/group.
Communication - Explain the decision made and reasons why.
Fluency in English and Italian
Strong time management skills - the ability to complete tasks within a short time frame with a view to ensuring quality is not compromised but key measurement targets are met.
Accuracy
Legal awareness - while direct legal expertise is not required as the client has Attorneys in each country, you will need to liaise and understand the legal positions in order to make informed, commercial recommendations.
Financial analysis skills
Education requirements: e.g. University or College degree University Business / Finance Degree from a reputable University or Professional Financial Qualification.
Decision making - the ability to make a firm, informed decision as quickly as possible following analysis
