For our leading multinational client, we are looking for an experienced professional to start immediately in the following position:
The Internal Controls Tester will execute various internal controls tests and compliance reviews, as assigned by the Test Team Manager, in order to determine that internal controls are operating as designed for the period under review. The Internal Controls Tester will execute testing of the GBS processes on behalf of GBS and will follow company’s policies regarding control standards, documentation, and testing. There are needed two types of Testers: CRM testers who are concentrating on control points in GBS Customer Relationship Management area. The other testers are concentrating on Application Management project controls and are called ADM testers. The controls are concerning the project lifetime management. Testing will be conducted locally and off-shore in alignment, coordination and support of the control standards and policies established by the World Wide Process Owner.

Executing test plans to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls & performing tests of the selected samples in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
Preparing comprehensive written reports of testing findings by process.
Executing test plans to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of project management principles Performing specific test procedures and preparing documentation regarding the testing procedures performed and the results of testing.
Highlighting unusual or problem areas for key process controls, provides recommendations of corrective action and may provide input into the execution of remediation programs.
Describing test results and defects.
Conducting follow up tests to determine adequacy of remedial actions.
Conducting ongoing status reporting related to testing trends.
Recommending alternative test approaches to the Testing Team Manager to improve overall efficiency while ensuring testing activities are mapped appropriately to control procedures aligned with specific business risks.
Requirements
Fluent in Danish or Swedish. Fluent in English
Possesses functional understanding of information technology and keeps abreast of latest technical advances.
Prior experience in internal controls activities & testing, statistical analysis, sampling and data analysis is an advantage
Working knowledge of workstation based tools, business processes, management and measurement systems, control programs.
Relevant professional accounting or auditing designation strong asset
Ability to influence strategy and to provide clear, concise reports to all levels of management and to influence the decision making process.
Applied knowledge of business controls and risk management principals in evaluating controls program
Exercises high degree of analytical ability in the design, application and development of testing control programs and makes effective use of data analysis techniques
Works independently to generate findings
Ability to meet deadlines
