Job Description
• Assist the team leader to understand actual financial information related to business units and Functions in Spain
• Support execution of timely monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and accurate reporting in accordance with Finance Standards and Practices, including the Group Reporting Manual for all entities which fall within the Accountant's portfolio, in liaison with the relevant Business.
• Support the Operations & Cost Accounting process for a specific business / functions.
• Support the delivery of timely and accurate unit cost margin, analysis and reconciliations
• Provide support to understand business activities and the resulting risks & obligations, in order to ensure these are properly reflected in reported results to management and actual Group reporting
• Support preparation and analysis monthly actual according to business activity during the period
• Support preparation of detailed accounts information upon request
Job requirements
• Fluent English and Spanish or Portuguese language and interpersonal skills with particular focus on client responsiveness
• Good level of analytical skills, numeracy and financial awareness
• Readiness for action and ability to work under pressure,
• Self confident appearance in relations to the internal and outside world
• Strong communication and cooperation skills
• Accounting and performance reporting experience, especially Group / IFRS Reporting Reporting
• SAP Financials
Personality/Competencies
• High level of analytical skills, numeracy and financial awareness
• Good interpersonal and excellent communication skills
• Ability to perform effective teamwork and collaboration
